TinyTalk Waveney & Mid-Suffolk

Learn to communicate with your baby before they can speak, at an award-winning TinyTalk baby signing class.
What can you expect at a TinyTalk class?
Weekly themes such as bedtime, family or a trip to the park give you the signs you need to share baby’s world and daily routine, using British Sign Language (BSL) signs.  Help your baby get their thoughts out before they can master words.  Baby signing allows them to express themselves and helps to reduce frustration.  By doing so you will understand them on a much deeper level and have a closer bond with them.  By signing you are also helping them to understand you/ your message better because each sign is like a 'picture'/ 'visual cue' to accompany each spoken word.
An interactive music class featuring well-known nursery rhymes, action songs, specially composed music and instruments
Hands-on sensory activities delight your baby and develop all-round communication skills such as vocalising, listening and taking turns. They also stimulate your baby’s senses, encourage their tracking skills and develop their hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
Time to relax with a cuppa and make new friends whilst your baby enjoys social playtime
TinyTalk classes are run in blocks of 12 weeks, though you can often start at any time (subject to space). We cover 150 signs during the term, with time for practice and repetition.

Our Toddler Talking classes (from 18 months+) follow a similar class set up to our Baby Signing classes.  See it, say it, sign it – at TinyTalk Toddler Talking Classes.  Help your toddler develop their communication skills with our language activities, British Sign Language signs and lots of fun!  Classes help to support language development (reduces frustration and builds confidence), social skills, early learning and are inclusive for all toddlers from 18 months with no previous signing experience necessary.
