TOP Physiotherapy are proud to be able to offer a Children's Physiotherapy services to the local community of Olney and surrounding areas.

Lucy is an expert Children's Physiotherapist, with over 11 years experience working with children from birth, with a wide range of conditions from Developmental Delay (Delayed Developmental Milestones), Neurological Disorders - including Cerebral Palsy and Genetic conditions, to Musculoskeletal (MSK) Conditions and Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD).

She has specialist knowledge, interest and understanding around child growth, development and common childhood injuries. Being a parent herself, she understands the importance of being your child’s biggest advocate.

Lucy specialises in child development and works with children from birth, with a wide range of differing medical conditions and needs.

Lucy understands that children are not just little adults and therefore need to be treated differently in order to gain an effective treatment outcome.  To provide the right physiotherapy for children therefore requires highly specialist knowledge. Lucy believes physiotherapy should be engaging and fun as well as being effective. ​She has a sound understanding of developmental milestones as well as the prerequisites required to achieve a milestone successfully. 

Lucy has a passion for working with children and has completed Bobath modules in typical child development and normal movement to compliment her facilitation skills. She is trained in Kinesio Taping techniques, which has been shown to help children with a very wide range of problems, from musculo-skeletal, i.e. joint aches and pains, to helping to provide feedback to specific muscle groups during therapy to enhance typical movement patterns. 

Lucy prides herself on her ability to make therapy fun and engaging for each and every child she see's, whilst aiming to work with families to help achieve their specific rehab goals. Lucy is a member of the Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists (APCP).
