The Woad Farm Project is a therapeutic Farm based in Milton Keynes, providing outdoor farming experiences to support and benefit young people's development, social skills and health.
On the farm children and young people can interact with and help care for the animals, taking on the role of 'farmer' for the day. Alongside feeding and looking after the various animals, they may help us weigh them, check the fencing and spend tiem outdoors in nature.
We run a range of different sessions for both children who love animals and children and young people who have experienced trauma.
Sessions range from open sessions, 1:1 sessions, a referral scheme and half term clubs.
We are currently operating Mondays and Fridays, during school holidays and with occassional weekend sessions.
