Welcome to Forest School and Outdoor Learning with Suffolk Wildlife Trust!
What we do and why we do it:
Introducing children to nature from a young age has a multitude of benefits, from developing fine & gross motor skills, building confidence, supporting socialisation, allowing creativity, encouraging imagination and so, so much more!
Our sessions are based on a mixture of child-led and structured activities, to allow children (and their accompanying adults!!) to discover, explore and enjoy the natural world around them, whilst gaining knowledge and an interest in our native wildlife, plants and trees.
As well as sessions for pre-schoolers, we also run:
- wild birthday parties
- school holiday events
- holiday club
- school visits
- Forest School
- home-ed sessions for children and teens
