Do you have tots who love to Jump, roll or tumble? Acro Dance is the class for your little one. Combining dance/music movement and the foundations of preschool acrobatics this great program, created by one of the world's leading dance acrobatics syllabi, Acrobatic Arts, is just the thing to get your tot building confidence and skills in a safe and fun environment.
Acrobatic Dance, or acro as it is commonly referred to by dancers and dance professionals, is the beautiful fusion of classic dance technique and the precision and athleticism of acrobatic elements.
This pre-school program aimed for children aged 3-5yrs will see your child improve in balance, strength and flexibility, as well as, coordination, rhythm and motor skills. Also, cartwheels are just fun!
These classes are a mix of music song and dance, strengthening and flexibility poses and beginner tumbling steps and foundations e.g. back bends, splits, forward rolls, handstands, cartwheels.
Children love to jump and tumble across their 3m air track, it’s like being on a bouncy castle every week!
At the end of each term children receive certificates to award them for their hard work and to instill a sense of pride in all they have achieved.
These classes are run by Miss Taylor.
Miss Taylor is a trained Dance and Acro teacher from Australia. She has many years of teaching experience, with students of all ages and skill levels. Miss Taylor believes in an inclusive class environment. She takes pride in making sure every child feels seen, heard and safe in her classes.
Her classes are filled with laughter, joy and encouragement. Miss Taylor knows every child learns at a different rate and will alter classes to best suit each child.

Drop your child at class and enjoy a coffee in the cafeteria whilst you watch other dancers rehearse and meet the other Acrodance Battersea mums. Or take this time to yourself and have a walk or run along the river.
