MumWrite is a writing development programme for mums, offering a non-judgement and mum conscious space to write. We offer workshops, writing peers and a social platform to feel supported and have some accountability.
-Six workshops via Zoom (1.5 hours each) on Wednesdays (10am UK time) every 2 weeks. These sessions will be recorded for you to watch when you can if you can't attend live.
-We cover: resilience and confidence building activities, author values and how to market yourself, submitting your work, writing in new ways and compiling a collection of work (more detail below). There will also be breakouts with your peers.
-A goal setting questionnaire to help you focus on your writing aims and hold yourself accountable.
-Access to a closed MumWrite Facebook group for the duration of the programme with writing peers, accountability, opportunities, submission calls, and discussion to keep you inspired and engaged!
- A free Facebook Live prompt every other week that can be viewed at any time (if you are not on Facebook, I can still email you the prompts).
-A free set of resilience activities to complete in your own time to help you become the writer you want to be and give you a toolkit to refer back to if you feel yourself wobbling!
-An email feedback group of 3-4 writers with guidance provided.
-Optional homework activities to keep you writing throughout the programme.
-A monthly Q&A session on Zoom where you can submit your burning questions!
-A special Q&A with a literary agent guest for your next big step.
-Guidance on submitting work and marketing yourself.
-Extra special writing guests in some workshops.
-Feedback from Nikki on 3 short poems or 1500 words of fiction.
