I was a KS1 teacher for over 22 years but not in class anymore! I have followed my dreams and pursued something new.
I have set up a small buisness where I support parents and carers so they can encourage their children with phonics, reading, writing and philosophy.
I used to get asked questions by parents all the time, such as "How do I encourage reading or writing?" " How can I make my child be interested in the wider world?" "what is phonics? What is the best way to teach this?"
Taking all these questions and many, many more, I created a bespoke workshop just for parents and carers. This is a platform where you can ask me questions about early reading and writing, phonics and philosophy.
These workshops are for parents and carers who want to support their children at home alongside their school journey or home school.
I also carry out home visits and look at ways I can support in creating a child, friendly learning environment that can include the outdoors.
