Groombridge Place is ther perfect place to explore with a family. There is something to do for all ages and children of pre-walking age are free. Explore the gardens which overlook the historic manor house, walk along the canal path to the see the birds of prey displays (which take place twice a day). Continue along the canal path Crusoe's World where chlidren can have their very own pirate adventure on the wooden boat and fort. Walk further into the beautiful enchanted forest and you will find the giant tree swings and the board walk.
The attraction is open from Wednesday to Sunday and closed Monday and Tuesday except for Bank Holidays and in school holidays.
Special events usually take place in school holidays or on bank holidays.
There is a cafe near admissions and a kiok at Crusoe's World.
Open from 10am to 5pm.
There are hilly areas in the forest which may be a little challenging if you are pushing a buggy. There are baby changing areas.
