Ely Museum, located in the historic Bishop's Gaol, is an interactive, family friendly museum that tells the story of the Fens and the people who live here. From the warm Jurassic seas that once covered this region to the rich farmland we see today, enjoy exploring exciting exhibitions and hands-on activities - there's fun for all ages.
An explorers chest for children and story bags as well as free fun museum trails are available from reception.
Perfect for families, Ely Museum has plenty of seating areas, a lift, accessible toilet and baby change facilities. 'Little Explorers', an under 5's group runs monthly as well as other events that are held on weekends and during school holidays. Check out our website for 'What's On'.
