A great place to live, work and bring up the family.

Bicester Town Council was established following local government reform in 1974. It is part of a three-tier system of local government, alongside Cherwell District Council and Oxfordshire County Council. Each authority is responsible for delivering different services.

The Town Council also organises various community activities and events, including summer concerts, family fun days, Remembrance Day service and parade, Christmas lights switch-on, Christmas light trail, and the final Mayor's charity of the year, the Santa Fun Run.
