Review: VW Beetle Walker from Hape, £48.53

Hape VW Beetle Walker Review written by Toddle About VIP Club member, Rebecca Champion. The walker arrived in a very eye catching box which did get my 21 month old, Jessica excited to open the package and see what was inside. My husband unpacked and commented on the careful packaging and very simple and easy to follow assembly instructions. He also liked the fact it had only 2 pieces so was built in minutes.

It is the first walker we have both seen with an adjustable handle position and also wheels. Our house has a mixture of wooden, carpet and tiled floors so we're keen to try a tighter setting and it worked. Tighten the screws in the rear wheels allowed the walker to have a slower speed meaning a safer experience for Jessica. Then we tried it loser on the carpet and it worked equally as well. The altering of the handle bar is great for a younger child to keep them upright but we opted for the further back more relaxed position which Jessica liked. The detailing of the VW graphic is very clear and vibrant and the sliver hub caps with the VW logo adds to the whole walker making it perfect for the discerning VW enthusiast. The rubber tyres seem a good quality and did not mark any of our floors when we tried it. Jessica liked the the sizes of the basket and quite happily filled it with her toys before throwing them out and standing in it. This was not issue and seemed very sturdy with her stood in it, even when she jumped up an down. In conclusion we all feel it is a well made and attractive product and would suit a boy or girl and help them learn to walk. When they can walk it is a great toy for pushing round and filling with their favourite toys. Purchase from Amazon
