Review: Voksi Adventure Footmuff, worth £169

We had the pleasure of trying the Voksi Adventure Footmuff. I was impressed by its adaptability and versatility, as the product grows or shrinks to the size of your infant and can also be adjusted for weather conditions and child preference.
It kept our two-year old cosy during a trip to the country park. It was spacious enough that he could wear his coat underneath and still had lots of room at the bottom for growth. The packaging states the product is for up to age 3, but I could see it lasting longer. I was dubious about the usefulness for young babies, but there’s a string at the bottom you can tighten so that the down comes close to the feet.

The back opening was easy to use, and I had the pushchair straps through within 30 seconds and the openings are designed in such a way to be universal for a variety of attachments including pushchairs and bicycle seats.
There are zip arm openings which I found helpful for a toddler who is always snacking and loves to hold sticks!
It comes with a compression bag which means that we were able to fold it down small whilst we played in the park.
It’s windproof and water repellent. We experienced a light shower when out and it served us well, with the water beading up and rolling off.

I give it 4 stars - the product is pretty expensive. If you buy it for when your child is young and use it frequently, with care, it could be a great investment piece that is worth it. I do a lot of baby wearing, so this isn’t something I would have bought for us, but it has been a great product to try.
