Review: SavviSand Sand Remover Starter Pack, worth £19.99
Review by VIP Club Member Emma Hall
I was sent the SavviSand starter pack to review.
The product itself comes with a handy bag to keep all items (the brush and the SavviSand) in and keep them together. The instructions on how to use are clear and easy to follow. The brush comes with a lid, which can snap open so when you need to replace the lid, it does not snag or bend the bristles which is a great addition and shows they’ve thought of everything. The SavviSand comes in a resealable bag which is handy.
We went to the beach and we all used it to remove sand from our feet and legs - adults, teenager, 8 year old and 5 month old. I also used it to remove the sand from the body of my 5 month old.
When filling the brush with sand, I would recommend doing it before you leave the house. We did it on a windy beach and made it a bit more difficult! Using the brush itself was easy - you squeeze the sides and some SavviSand comes out. It is almost the same texture as and works similar to talcum powder. Once the SavviSand comes out into the skin, sweeping the brush across the area starts to remove the sand quite quickly. The shape of the bristles means it covers areas that aren’t flat easily. It was a bit harder to get the sand out from in between the toes, and had to use fingers along with the SavviSand to assist with this. I personally didn’t find the brush tickly on my feet but others might!
The SavviSand leaves the areas cleaned feeling soft, my teenager commented how nice it felt. It can leave a bit of a white residue such as talcum powder would, but this can be brushed off by hand.
We also used the product to clean out our crocs before putting them back on and it worked a treat!
Overall I would give this product a 4 stars out of 5.
