Review: Punirunes Interactive Digital Pet, worth £39.99

We were really happy to be chosen to do a review on this, what a clever new take on an interactive toy. Having grown up myself when the Tamagotchi launched I was intrigued and excited to show my daughter the Punirunes. She was very engaged with it but could only work it with assistance so I think it is aimed more at an older child.
In terms of taking care of it, that has fallen to me but she has been very happy to pet it and check in on it. The additional tasks of earning coins to shop for food I think give this another level to a regular tamagotchi but have been lost on her so I am finding I am making coins for her to then make and feed her new pet.
She does like the brightness of the block and the clear screen, and seeing her finger appear on the screen makes her laugh. This is very unique and a fun feature I think for any child.
A great interactive toy but probably not for a 5 year old, I would say it is definitely more aimed at slightly older children.
