Review: Pip and Posy Talking Plush, worth £45.98

My 3-year-old absolutely loves Pip & Posy, so he was thrilled to receive the plush toy versions of two of his favourite characters. As soon as he saw them, his face lit up with excitement and he wanted to get them out of the box immediately. The toys are really well made—the quality of the fabric is lovely and soft, perfect for little hands to cuddle. They feel comforting and cozy, which is exactly what you want in a cuddly toy.

Another great feature is that they’re interactive. You can press their tummies to hear various sounds and music that mimic their personalities from the show, adding a really fun, animated element to playtime. The only downside, however, is that the button requires a fairly firm squeeze, which my toddler sometimes struggles with. That said, it hasn’t stopped him from enjoying them!

Interestingly, even my 10-month-old was drawn to these toys. He loved the sounds and textures and wanted to join in on the play, sparking some lovely sibling moments. They each picked a favourite—though my toddler may have made that decision for both of them!

What I particularly love is how these toys encourage imaginative play and storytelling. My son enjoys reenacting scenes from the show or making up his own adventures, bringing the characters to life in such a sweet way.

I was also pleasantly surprised by the size—they’re bigger than I expected, but still lightweight enough for my toddler to carry around easily. The packaging was another thoughtful touch: easy to recycle and included a cut-out colouring activity featuring the characters, which kept my toddler busy for a while longer.

All in all, these are charming toys that bring the warmth and friendship of Pip & Posy into everyday play. Definitely recommended for fans of the show!
