Review: Little Tikes Story Dream Machine, worth £49.99

My son absolutely loved the story Dream Machine!

His favourite part was the ability for him to use the dream machine independently and carry it around from room to room, he loved putting the stories in the machine, and was mesmerised and so excited when the projection went up on the wall, to start with he couldn't understand how it was working, and would keep putting his hand in front to see how it was projecting. The buttons were very child friendly and he quickly worked out what to do. We think as he grows this will be so adaptable as he loved listening to the story and then this will help him become more confident, firstly with word recognition, then to be able to read along too!

It's been a great addition to our family as we can put this on for our son and he's kept entertained while we get his baby brother ready for bed, his baby brother even loves looking at the projection on the wall too!

We love the fact that we can store the books in the machine, so we can easily take it to the grandparent's house and we found it very easy to set up, and change the focus etc. We particularly liked the fact that we could also use it as a night light, and the white noise is our favourite option.

We felt that the only 2 negatives were:
1. Our son kept wanting to move it so we were always re focusing, he didn't seem bothered about this though.
2. We definitely would want to purchase more books, as we went online to find many great options, but can be slightly expensive at £14.99 for 3.

One suggestion to make the projector even better would be a possible tilt option on the bottom, so we can direct it up at a wall, as when it's flat on the floor it doesn't properly project on the wall. This is only a minor issue though.

We would give this a rating of 4/5 only due to the cost of further short stories.
