Review: Hape Multi Musical Block Set, worth £30.99

I was thrilled to be chosen to do a review for the Hape Stacking Music Set. Both my children love musical toys and so I knew they would have lots of fun with this.

The set comes in quite a large box but when you take all the pieces out, it is very compact and all the cubes fit inside each other which is fantastic if you have a small house like me! I love the design of the cubes and the fact that the set is so colourful so we were able to talk about colours whilst playing.

My daughter is 3 and my son is 1 and they both enjoyed playing with this. It is 18M+ and although he is only 14 months, he was able to play with it. In addition to making ‘music’, he also liked to put the cubes on top of each other and then knock them down. The cubes are extremely robust so there was no problem with him doing this.

There are 6 pieces in total, 5 cubes and a little drumstick. The instruments include a drum, a xylophone, a rattle, a scratch board and a mini gong. My son liked the drum and the rattle the most and my daughter loved the drum, the xylophone and the mini gong. The instruments play really well and the little drumstick is fantastic as it makes great sounds with the instruments and feels very sturdy. It also fits inside the handle so it can be stored perfectly.

I would certainly recommend this product as it is very well made and it saves so much space!
