Review: Easy Peasy: Gardening for Kids and Six Little Birds Books, worth £29.90
Review written by Toddle About VIP Club member, Kirsty Spinks. I was recently lucky enough to receive two lovely children’s books to share with my children, Easy Peasy: Gardening for Kids and Six Little Birds. The first thing that caught my girls attention were the bright and vivid colours in each book! My eldest, who’s 4, loved the Easy Peasy: Gardening for Kids book with its bright illustrations and easy to follow instructions. We have already made a seed pot from newspaper and planted sunflowers which are sprouting as we speak. It’s full of lots of good ideas to get kids in the garden growing everything from flowers to spring onions and even their own terrarium! Most activities would need adult supervision / help but this will decrease with the age of the child.
My youngest , just turned 1, was enthralled with Six Little Birds Book! It’s a bright pop-up book that tells the story of 6 little nuthatches that leave the nest and their journey through the seasons. We particularly liked that the book was told through rhyming verses (which always makes a book more fun in our opinion!). The pages are nice and sturdy so we have so far avoided any accidental tears you can get with cheaper pop up books. Overall both books are very good quality, beautifully produced books that capture children’s imaginations and get them involved. I would definitely recommend them! ? Buy from www.gestalten.com
