Review: AVEENO Baby Soothing Relief Cream and Wash, worth £17.00

Review written by Toddle About VIP Club member, Sarah Pickering. Having had 3 children with varying degrees of eczema I was keen to both try and review the Aveeno baby moisturiser and bath additive. My 9 month old has dry skin on her face and arms, and through the winter it had become drier due to the weather.  I am sceptical when it comes to creams and like to use what I’m familiar with, however, I must say I was really pleased with the combination of both Aveeno products. The moisturiser worked well and over the period of a week I noticed an improvement in her skin. I used the cream 3-4 times a day on her face and twice on her arms and her cheeks have become less red and are no longer dry.

I was most impressed by the bath additive, we don’t normally have bubbly baths as their skin is too sensitive so all 3 children were very happy to have bubbles. The bath additive left the skin feeling incredibly soft and I was beyond impressed. We have used almost the whole tub in a couple of weeks and will definitely replace it once it’s gone! I would recommend both of these Aveeno products to anyone with children who have dry skin. We don’t have any flare ups at the moment so I can’t comment on the results of irritated eczema covered skin, but from my experience I would continue to use the bath additive even when the skin was bad and I would be hopeful it would calm the itching and redness.
