Review: ABC Animals: A Hand and Footprint Keepsake Book, worth £24.80

We had a lovely time reviewing this product. It was a small treasured memory to spend time with family to start the journey of this keepsake!

This book is an absolutely lovely gift for someone or to buy for your own little one as a keepsake, the quality of the book is amazing as well as all the images inside are just lovely. The added details of being able to add how old they are at the time of doing the prints and a little memory is also a great touch.

We did a couple of footprints with my nephew at only a few weeks old and it was so easy, definitely goes smoother when there’s two of you so we were glad we followed the instructions that said working in a pair was easier.

This is the first time I have tried using ink less pads as these weren’t a thing when my son was little and being mess free is definitely a great idea. The ink didn’t take long to dry in to book at all. However after doing a ‘practice’ print and a couple in the book we found the ink had pretty much almost ran out so they don’t have a lot of uses. The beauty of the book though is you can use any other inks or paints to create the hand and foot prints. We already had a discussion of how nice it would be to use matching coloured paints to each animal in the book anyway. A good way to get creative!

The keepsake book is definitely something I plan on purchasing when there’s a new addition to our family.

I would give the book a 5 star rating as the quality is unmatched, with the ink pads a 3 star rating, so overall it would be a 4 star rating from us.
