Delicious Berry Splodges

This recipe (kindly provided by Crafty Cooks Northampton) is great fun to make with the children - it's easy and makes a trayful of truly yummy cookies for a parent, grandparent or other loved one! So spread the love this February with some Valentines Day Berry Splodges: crafty cooks biscuits

Ingredients:

5oz Self Raising Flour 1oz Caster Sugar 2oz Berries (raspberry/blackberry) 1oz Butter 80-100ml Milk

Instructions:

1. Rub together the flour and butter until crumbly and then stir in the sugar. 2. Gently stir in the berries. Add enough milk to make a nice dough. 3. Gently flatten the dough to about 1.5cm thick and cut out shapes. Cook for 12-15mins at 220°C/425°F/gas mark 7.
