McDonald’s Fun Football Sessions are BACK
Great news for families - McDonald’s Fun Football Sessions are BACK this autumn, offering hundreds of free fun football sessions for children aged 5-11 in 200 centres across the UK.
New research reveals that 84% parents want their children to do more sport activity but almost-a-third (28%) are unable to afford it! The Fun Football Sessions are about giving ALL children, regardless of gender or ability, a chance to get involved with organised sporting activity and the nation’s favourite game.
McDonald’s Fun Football ambassador and Wales manager Ryan Giggs commented: “As a national coach, inspiring the next generation of footballers is something really important to me. Lockdown has undoubtedly had an impact on kids’ activity levels so it’s essential we get them playing football again in a safe environment. McDonald’s Fun Football is all about inspiring a love of the game in a fun and pressure-free way. I’ve seen first-hand the safety measures that have been put in place and know what a great option the sessions are for parents looking to get their children into football for the first time, or back to it after a break.”
