Children's Festive Drawings 'LIGHT UP' Britain in Giant 5G Light Display
Vodafone is calling on children across the nation to help them ‘Light Up’ the UK by transforming their festive drawings into a giant 5G powered light display.
The super-sized ‘Light Up’ display is situated on the side of Cabot Circus in Bristol to showcase children’s festive artwork throughout December creating Britain’s brightest display of Christmas cards.
Children across the UK are encouraged to share their homemade Christmas cards on social media using #ConnectTheMagic. Raising money for charity whilst they do as every eligible card submitted will generate a £1 donation from Vodafone UK Foundation to Barnardo’s.
The installation will show the cards every evening between 5pm and 9pm as budding young artists have their ‘moment in lights’. The installation will be live streamed so families everywhere can experience the magic, wherever they are in the UK.
Renowned children’s illustrator Rob Biddulph chose the first card to feature – a Christmas tree from Ted, aged 2 from Salisbury. The creator of ‘Draw with Rob’ will also be offering a free Christmas card art class on the 6th December.
