Story Museum’s Sweet Deal is the Icing on the Cake! Introducing Cake Happy Hour at Story Museum Cafe

Oxford residents will be familiar with Happy Hour at the city’s pubs and bars – but what about CAKE Happy Hour? Whether you’re a very hungry caterpillar or a tiger looking for tea, The Story Museum Café’s new Cake Happy Hour launching this September is a delicious treat that’s hard to beat.  Cake Happy Hour will offer customers a delicious home-baked cake with a hot drink for only £5.50.

We are over the moon to bring Cake Happy Hour to Oxford,’ says Hannah Floate, manager of The Story Museum Café. ‘It’s the perfect treat for the first part of the day; or after lunch for a tea-and-cake pick-me-up and great value for money at a time when we’re all feeling the squeeze on living costs.’

All the Story Museum Café’s cakes are baked by hand, using locally sourced ingredients. There’s an amazing variety of flavours on offer, such as a whispering wood-inspired apple, blackberry and thyme cake; a tea-party ginger-beer cake, Biscoff brownies, or light-as-a-fairy lemon drizzle cake. The offer also applies to the café’s famous story-themed cupcakes.

The Story Museum Café is family friendly and open to both museum visitors and cake-lovers alike.  Cake Happy Hour will offer customers a delicious home-baked cake with a hot drink for only £5.50, Tues-Friday during term times, between 9:30-10:30am or 2:30-3:30pm.
