Toddle About Front Cover Photo Competition
Are you a family portrait photographer based locally to one of our magazine regions?
We want to work with you!
We're fed up of using stock images on our front covers.
We're passionate about promoting local businesses, so we'd like to give YOU the opportunity to get one of your images on the cover of your local Toddle About magazine!
In return, we will give you full credit for the cover image, giving you prime promotion to thousands of local parents.
How it works
We are inviting all local photographers to submit images to be considered for use on the cover of our next magazine.
We will review all entries, and select the photo that we think will work best for that issue.
There is no cost for this - you do NOT need to advertise in the magazine to be considered (though of course, that would be the best way to promote your photography business!)
What we're looking for
We obviously need high res, print quality images. Beyond that, we're looking for images that fit our brand and goals.
Here are some pointers:
- The subject should be a child aged 0 - 4 years old.
- We're looking for something that is fun!
- We prefer outdoor shots. Indoor and studio shots will still be considered though.
- A different / eye-catching image would work well on a front cover.
- A seasonal slant is preferable - the magazine is quarterly (see upcoming issue dates), so an image that reflects the season would be ideal.
- Allow plenty of space around the subject - don't crop the image too closely. We need space for the magazine title and feature promotion.
- You may submit more than one image.
Hopefully it goes without saying that you need to own the copyright of any images you submit, and you must have the permission of the parents of the child in the image to publish their image with a 3rd Party like Toddle About.
