Woven Nursery and Preschool

At Woven Nursery, we are dedicated to nurturing a love for learning in young children. Our passionate team creates a warm and stimulating environment where every child can thrive and develop to their full potential. 

Woven Nursery aims to develop the whole child- socially and intellectually as well as their powers of deliberation, initiative and independent choice.

We are inspired by Montessori and Reggio Emilia, both approaches share many principles - such as allowing children to embrace their independence as learners in our free flow mixed age environment. 

We take children from age 1-5 and are open from 08:45-16:00 45 weeks of the year. 

At Woven Nursery we want every child in our care to experience

an enriching and inspiring environment. Alongside Montessori

and Reggio Emilia, we offer extra activities which we hope will

cater to the whole child.

These could be in the form of:

Music sessions are held in nursery each week. All children in the

nursery have the opportunity to join in with these fun music and

movement sessions.

Weekly yoga sessions will also be offered to all children to balance mental and physical wellbeing.

STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Maths) - Hands on learning will be on offer to explore topics the children are interested it - DIY Lava Lamps or fireworks in a jar

Cooking sessions are planned per term term, linking in with the child’s interest or learning topic - for example pancakes for Shrove Tuesday or lime cake for Black History Month.
