Our progressive play programme is designed to develop your child’s physical skills. Using bespoke colourful equipment, we focus on agility, balance, climbing and co-ordination, which enhances brain development and builds confidence.
Every session is supervised by our specially trained staff, getting the best out of each child. Up until 3 years, grown-ups participate as well so that parents, carers and even grandparents can spend time with little ones as they develop.
The journey begins for babies from 6 months old who can sit up unaided. Here’s how our classes break down…
6months-walking
Classes offers babies an opportunity to socialise in an environment that enables their natural abilities of playing, exploring and crawling to flourish. Parents can help and encourage their babies to use all their senses gently and without pressure in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
Walking to Age 2
A class for children who have started to walk confidently. Through free play children are encouraged to climb, jump and roll. Hand-eye co-ordination is introduced and there are rhymes and songs to develop body identification. Social skills such as taking turns and sharing are starting to be developed.
Age 2 to 3 Years
Sessions are based around 'activity stations' designed to develop agility, balance, climbing and co-ordination. Still with parent participation children start learning to listen to instructions whilst enhancing their social skills.
3 Years to School Age
With the same set up and principles of our 2-3's, this class is now done without parental assistance and is designed to boost your child's self esteem and confidence in preparation for school. In this class children learn how to remember a sequence of activities and implement them with confidence. Importance is continued to be placed on taking turns whilst also helping and co-operating with each other and the staff.
Gymbobs
These classes are for Tumble Tots graduates or children of school age. Gymbobs offer children more challenging tasks using more complex ‘stations’. Gymbobs also learn to develop physical skills without using equipment and are introduced to the concept of teamwork and relays.
