Set in the crater of a WWII bomb blast, Thorington Theatre is a 350-seat outdoor venue that welcomes artists and performers from the UK and beyond to the Suffolk coast.
Constructed in 2020; the theatre is made from coppiced sweet chestnut (sourced less than 400m away from the theatre site). Surrounded by woodland and birdsong, Thorington Theatre provides a welcome escape from the bustling day-to-day and draws the audience into the moment.
