We welcome visitors of all ages to come and enjoy hands-on farm experiences with our friendly farm animals, as well as experience the sights and sounds of a working livestock farm. With excellent indoor and outdoor facilities, there is plenty to do for the whole family, whatever the weather or season.
On the Farm
Animal barns and paddocks house a range of friendly farm animals including goats, sheep, alpacas, donkeys, poultry, rabbits, guinea pigs & more to meet and touch. Hands-on activity sessions to feed, hold and interact with the animals run throughout the day. Walk a goat, brush a pony, feed the goats, cuddle a rabbit... the list goes on!
Explore the farm on a Tractor & Trailer Ride*, watch (and participate in!) the Animal Racing every afternoon during school summer holidays & weekends (March - Sept). Place a bet in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support and cheer on your runner!
Play all day
Let the children run off steam in our heated Indoor Play & Activity Barn with areas for all ages including giant slides, tunnels, soft play, pedal tractors, climbing nets and our NEW electric ride on tractors, sure to become a firm favourite. There is also a dedicated under 3s and baby zone.
Visit us in term time with your little ones and take part in our weekday Rugrats (0-18m) and Rascals (18m +) interactive baby & toddler sessions with singing, music, movement, story time, sensory & messy play. Check our listing or website for current session days & times.
Rest & refuel
And when you need a break, our Woolly Sheep Café is open every day serving freshly prepared hot & cold food, seasonal specials, delicious homemade cakes, picnic bags & lots more.
Food is cooked fresh to order using local products whenever possible and our own Roves Farm reared meats. Our cakes are all baked onsite by our talented cafe team, using local free-range eggs. We have lots of Free From options too.
We have a large, heated barn with plenty of seating plus outdoor picnic areas.
Farm Shop & Butchery
Our Farm Shop & Butchery is open daily 9am-5pm selling Roves reared beef, lamb & pork all freshly prepared on site by our fully trained butchers. Homemade cakes & pies, locally sourced milk & cheese, jams, chutneys, preserves and ales & ciders can also be found alongside fresh vegetables & fruit.
Visit Roves Refills, our zero waste pantry that will allow you to buy all your store cupboard ingredients such as pasta, cereals, granola, rapeseed oil, nuts, seeds & even sweets without a plastic wrapper in sight!
Entry is FREE if you just want to visit the Farm Shop & Café.
Gift Shop
Our Gift Shop stocks a varied and unique range of toys, books, souvenirs, gifts & homewares. Many along a farm theme (of course!) and some supplied by local artists, makers & crafters.
