Pumpkin & Pickle Baby

Hello from Pumpkin & Pickle - the beginning of a wonderful journey of parenting!

I love to support new parents strengthen the connection with their babies in small groups that both promote development of your baby, and facilitate support in the local community.   
 
I am a Baby Massage instructor & Advanced Tummy Time Practitioner and also a Play the Nature Way Practioner, also a mother of two and I am passionate about expanding the connection between mother and child in those first days/weeks whilst you build your relationship & develop a routine.  
 
Baby massage is known to alleviate symptoms of colic, release constipation, aid good sleep and we use specially blended baby massage oil with relaxing & soothing properties - classes are 1.5 hours each week which gives time for talking, listening & eating homemade cake!  
 
TummyTime PlayTime is unique class which incorporates sensory play & singing songs whilst we position babies in tummy time positions for play - the group advocates fun & play whilst following advice from World Health Organisation (WHO) who advocate time on the tummy and a variety of play positions.  

These two classes are combined and expanded for our Pumpkin & Pickle Explorers for sensory fun, play & activities for little ones on the move, crawling, shuffling, belly flopping (not for walkers) to continue to move through the milestones and get to know other local parents in our local community. 
 
I welcome parents to my baby massage groups, and tummytime playtime sessions to begin learning about holistic ways to look after yourself, create awareness to therapies available to support you, and explore ways to ultimately maintain wellness and strengthen the connection with your baby, through the power of touch.  My classes are suitable from birth to crawling age and you sign up to blocks of four weeks.  I also have a weigh-in service as an option each week and some guest visitors from other local mum businesses that support the wellbeing of our groups. 

New in 2024 is Pumpkin & Pickle Nature Play - for walker & talkers being curious and having fun outdoors.  Hosted at Brackley Rugby Club - a safe & secure green space to saturate the senses in a natural way, learning and playing, singing and barefoot walking.  Lots of fun for 1-3 yr olds together for four weeks of more. 

I also run Dad & baby massage sessions through the year.  I host my classes in specially selected venues that align with the ethos of Pumpkin & Pickle; at The Well Retreat in Brackley on the High Street, and at Wellness at New Street - both offer a welcoming and nurturing environment, easy to acces with free parking outside.
