Hello, I am Dawn!
I am really looking forward to meeting the lovely families in my area that want to give their children’s learning a head start by coming along to our fun, educational classes.
Phonics is the way in which schools teach reading and writing. We use a
combination of singing, dancing and fun activities to introduce sound recognition, oral blending and literacy, as well as enabling the children to socialise and problem
solve.
I have been a Teaching Assistant for six years, working with groups of children, teaching phonics and working with children with additional needs. I love seeing how children learn and progress.
I am also a mum to two girls, a wife, dog owner and novice knitter. Phonics with Robot Reg classes make it possible for me to have a fulfilling career as well as being able to dedicate the time I need to my family.
If there is anything I can do to support the needs of either you or your child during classes, please do not hesitate to let me know. I am also available to offer classes in nurseries and preschool settings.
