An Independent Day School for girls aged 2 - 18 with a Nursery and Pre School.
Set in the beautiful area of Hardingstone in Northampton. The large grounds are home to a forest school area with dipping pond and shelter for the Nursery girls to learn how to build, craft and create in the open. The Nursery itself is split into a Nursery room for 2-3 year olds and a PreSchool Room. The rooms are open plan and set within the Junior School. The Nursery has covered outside areas for each room allowing outside play in all weathers. There are also seperate messy play areas and a dining area. Meals are made by the school kitchen and offers a wide variety of foods, included within the Nursery fees. Girls enjoy the facilities and life of the Junior School by visiting the school library, enjoying ballet and PE in the school hall, and attending school events. The weekly timetable in the Nursery and PreSchool also includes activiteis such French, cooking, phonics and music.
The Nursery offers 15 funded hours to all girls who are eligible, the term after they turn 3. Girls can join the Nursery from age 2 on a full time, year round place. Girls who join from the age of 3 may attend part time or term time, subject to availability. The Nursery is open 7am - 6pm 50 week a year.
It is £100 to register and there is a £500 returnable deposit.
Many girls who attend the Nursery and PreSchool stay for Reception Class and enjoy a smooth transition whcih begins in PreSchool. Those who are eligible will continue to recieve 15 funded hours until the term of their 5th birthday. Reception girls have ballet and swimming lessons at no extra cost during their normal school timetable.
