Online appointments available across the UK. Face-to-face appointments coming soon across Oxfordshire.
At Little Steps Psychology Practice, we understand that the journey into parenthood can be a complex and emotional experience. Whether you're expecting a child, adjusting to life with a new baby, or facing the unique stresses of having a baby in NICU, you don't have to go through it alone.
We offer specialist assessment and therapy to support you during the life-changing transition of parenthood. We also help parents learn techniques and strategies to support their child's development from birth until they start school.
Specialist areas of interest:
· Supporting you during pregnancy and in preparation for birth (e.g. antenatal depression and/or anxiety, tokophobia, birth trauma, perinatal loss)
· Supporting you after your baby has been born (e.g. postnatal depression, anxiety and/or stress, recovering from a difficult or traumatic birth, not feeling like a good enough parent or partner)
· Supporting you both during and after your baby's NICU admission, or if your child has additional medical needs (e.g. managing the roller-coaster of emotions during admission, managing worries about your child, helping you process your NICU experience)
· Providing parenting support for toddlers and pre-schoolers, enabling you to gain confidence, reduce stress, and foster a stronger, more positive connection with your child during their formative years (e.g. welcoming a second baby, managing tantrums and meltdowns, having difficult conversions (e.g. about death), preparing your child for nursery/school)
If you're interested to hear more about how we can support you, get in touch for a free 15-minute consultation so we can think together how to help you take those first little steps towards what matters most.
