Hello, my name is Linda Beckett and I write therapeutic books for young children. I obtained a BSC Honours degree in Psychology with the Open University. I also undertook some training as an assistant psychologist, which enabled me to gain entry as a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society. I am also a member of the Society of Authors.
All my books follow the adventures of Arty the Bear and his friends. Arty loves to help young children with their worries.
My book "What's Wrong Arty?" encourages young children to talk about things that worry them, and has featured on Sarah Ferguson's YouTube channel #storytimewithfergieandfriends, and was recommended last year by Sue Atkins, The Parenting Expect.
"Caught in the Web" is a subtle warning about the dangers of the Internet.
My new ebook released recently is called Arty's Roller Coaster of Emotions, and covers topics such as bullying, cyber bullying, self esteem issues and includes a section on mindfulness.
These books are ideal for parents, teachers, educational psychologists and therapists of all kinds. In fact I know my books are being used in all these instances all over the world.
The books are available from Amazon worldwide, Waterstones, Book Depository and Barnes and Noble.
