Perhaps you are;

- being bothered by intrusive unpleasant thoughts or images

- not feeling able to be the parent/ partner/ person you expect and want yourself to be, which may include feeling disconnected from others
- noticing strong feelings of guilt or shame or high levels of self-criticism
- having difficulties around self-image, food or self esteem
- not feeling able to take an important next step in your life, e.g. returning to a career after several years at home.
When things feel tough, working with someone who you feel 'gets it' and knowing the space is safe and free from judgement is really important.
