WELCOME TO GRANDPONT NURSERY SCHOOL & CHILDCARE
Nestled in the heart of Oxford, Grandpont Nursery School is one of the seven maintained Nursery Schools in Oxfordshire. We are led by a Head Teacher and a governing body, and supported by a strong team of Early Years specialists. Grandpont Nursery School plays a key role within the local community, constantly responding to the needs of the local children and families.
We offer childcare to children from 10 months until the September after their 4th birthday.
We have two options of childcare provision available.
1. All year round provision, ‘Rainbows’
Children 10 months old to 4 years old (school age).
Open 50 weeks a year (Closed 1 week at Christmas, 1 week in August and 5 INSET days

- 15 or 30 hours funding can be used in the ‘all year round’ provision and ‘term-time’ only provision. Funding guidelines state that funding is to be used for childcare hours only and cannot be used towards the cost of extras such as food.

- 15 or 30 hour funding used in the ‘all year round’ provision will be spread out and deducted across 50 weeks.
- We are not able to accommodate a combination of the two options.
- Please note that a minimum of two sessions must be booked to offer your child the greatest opportunity to feel a sense of belonging.
- Morning and afternoon snack is provided in ‘all year round’ provision and ‘term-time only provision. This is included within the fees.
- Breakfast and light tea is also included in ‘all year round’ provision.
- Children in both ‘all year round’ provision and ‘term-time only’ provisions have the option of a hot school meal (available during term-time only), or bringing a home provided cold packed lunch (food cannot be reheated).
- Nappies and formula milk are not included in the fees.
