Emscote Pre-School has a long history and was previously known as 'The Contact Centre Playgroup'. This was located in a hall behind All Saints Church for approximately ten years. From 1996 the group was renamed Emscote Pre-School and moved to the two classrooms at the rear of Emscote Infant School. The pre-school is a limited company by guarantee and is non-profit making. Emscote Pre-School is also a charity that exists alongside the company to raise funds to benefit the children.
Emscote Pre-School is located in the Emscote/Percy Estate area of Warwick. Most of the children move on to Emscote Infant School.
The pre-school provides high quality early years education for children aged from two years nine months to five years. It offers sessions from 9-12am and from 1-3.30pm, Monday to Friday. There is also a Lunch Club session to those parents who would like it, enabling the session to be extended by one hour. The pre-school also offers a limited number of places available for children to attend for a full day from 9am to 3.30pm.
