Welcome to Broughton Manor Nursery, where we care for children from 2 months to 3 years of age.
We aim to make the transition from home to nursery as happy and as easy as possible for both you and your child.
Our nursery is situated in the old Broughton Manor House, which dates back to 1862. We can be found on the North East side of Milton Keynes, close to both Junction 13 and Junction 14 of the M1 motorway.
The Manor House is set within extensive grounds; immediately outside we have a large lawned open space, an astro-turfed area, perfect for outdoor play all year round, a beach area with beach huts and sandy beach, an outdoor market place for role play and our Spinney which provides a shady place to share a story, log piles for minibeast hunts and a fantastic outdoor space for investigating nature.
We have several different rooms in our Nursery. There are dedicated to babies and toddlers from 2 months to approximately 1½ years of age and further rooms for little children from approximately 1½ to 3 years. Each room is warm and cosy, yet bright and full of colour, and appropriately equipped for the age group in that room.
Within our EYFS department, we aim to develop the three prime areas; Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Communication and Language and Physical Development.
From 2½ years of age, our children have PE lessons and music lessons with specialist teachers and our half termly topics cover all 7 areas of the EYFS curriculum.
