Review: Richell T.L.I Insulated Straw Bottle Cup, worth £26.95

Review by VIP Club Member Molly Scott-Broome

We have spent this month trying out this insulated straw cup to see how it compares with other straw cups that we own and we were definitely impressed!

Straight away a difference is that it is insulated so keeps warm drinks a nice cosy temperature and keeps cold water nice and refreshing for the day. Due to it being summer we mainly used this for keeping water cool and found even if it was left in the buggy or on the sand it was still a nice temperature to keep my boy hydrated and cool! As my boy is very active I did wonder how it would hold up with being thrown, dropped and generally bashed about and I can definitely say I’m impressed that it hasn’t even got a small dent from all it’s been through. It didn’t take my son long to learn how to open it by himself with the simple button on the front and it was also easy enough for him to click it closed with one hand too.

My one worry with it was as it is a straw cup would it be harder to keep clean especially around the top part but so far we have found that with a good brush to get in the small areas it has stayed clean, however if you use it for juices or milk I definitely think you would need to put more effort into keeping the top part clean.

The cup itself can also be used with other parts sold separately which I think is a nice idea if you want to change from a straw to open cup or a different spout.

Overall whilst this cup is slightly on the higher side price wise I would say it is well worth the money as it keeps the drink cold / hot depending on what your using it for and means you only need to take that with you when your out for a whole day and know the drink will stay fresh.
