Review: Arc 2 Lightweight Travel Cot, worth £119.99

Review by VIP Club Member Faye Clark

Travel just got lighter!

The Arc 2 lightweight travel cot is amazingly light and it all folds down and packs away into a backpack making it super easy to carry. Being small it takes up less space at home and in the car so easy to keep on hand. My traditional travel cot is in the attic due to lack of space so any last minute plans and I have to get the ladders out!

Putting it up is really easy especially if you’ve ever put a play tent up. It comes with 2 poles that are the fold up style with the elastic running through them. I would recommend unfolding as you push them through the tent as the poles are very long when fully extended. Not a problem when in the tent as they arc.

The Arc 2 also comes with a mattress that is held into place with Velcro and a fitted sheet. Would recommend putting the sheet on before putting the mattress in.

When packing away again unfold the poles as you remove them. Another tip is to put the mattress in the bag first. Leaving it till last can make it awkward to fit in.

I currently have The Arc 2 set up in my living room for midday naps. It is so lightweight you can easily pick it up and move around or throw on the sofa while you hoover.

The Arc 2 is also great if you struggle keeping your little one asleep while lowering them into a cot. The side completely unzips so you can actually get down on the floor and slide them in. Like wise it’s easy to lay next to them and comfort them as they fall asleep if needed or read a story.

You’ve got options with the zips depending on the child and the situation. I leave the side zipped down in the day so my little one can easily get out when he wakes. The roof also has a zip so you can stop your little one escaping if needed.

More importantly my 1yr old happily sleeps all night no problem!
