Here at Tots of Mess, we LOVE messy play and we all know how much kids love to get messy! Messy and sensory play is an important part of their learning but we also know that mess in the home isn’t always ideal – so why not bring your little one along to one of our fabulous messy play sessions and let us clear up the mess at the end!
What we do…
At each session, we provide a painting floor, play dough and various trays and tubs of messy fun to explore and enjoy!
Our tray set ups are designed to be inviting and exciting for the children (and adults!) taking part. There are many scoops, tubs, funnels and scrapers for the children to fully explore the materials available.
All of the trays, except the play dough, are at ground level so it gives non walkers the opportunity to fully investigate what is on offer! 10 minutes before the end, we switch on the bubble machine! I don’t think I know of a child who doesn’t LOVE bubbles!
We are very aware of how much babies and small toddlers put in their mouths, so each week we always try and use materials that are ‘taste safe’. We don’t recommend the children eat large quantities however they will be fine if they eat small amounts. We do let parents know if there is a material which isn’t edible, usually sand or shaving foam! The paint, at this time, isn’t taste safe.
