Welcome to Singalong with Singing Gwen!

What is Singalong?

Singalong is a lively and interactive music and movement class for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers.

What's special about it?

  • Each class follows a similar structure, with the theme changing each week.

  • Little ones love both the repetition and the different songs.

  • We use both old favourites and some more unusual songs, so parents and carers can join in with gusto too!

  • Children learn about the world around them, increase their vocabulary, follow simple instructions, and share the joy of music.

  • We have a song for (almost!) every occasion: the best tantrum busters ever!

  • The "big" class is ideal for siblings and childminders with children of different ages

  • The "baby" class provides opportunity for bonding, communication and sensory experiences.

  • We send children off to school with confidence to join in, to stand up in front of others, and most importantly, with oodles of fun memories!

Venues

Currently I run classes in two venues:

The Studio at Stowe is a beautiful space which is used by a variety of ante- and post-natal groups, as well as other lovely baby and toddler activities. It is very conveniently located if you are in or near Buckingham, Brackley or Towcester. (Postcode: MK18 5AB)

Wingrave Community Centre is a fantastic, recently refurbished, village hall in a wonderful setting. There is a brilliant playpark right next door! This is ideal if you are coming from Aylesbury, Tring, Stewkley or Leighton Buzzard. (Postcode: HP22 4PE)

Both venues have ample parking right outside, and facilities for changing bottoms or using potties!

Class Prices:

You can either book for half a term in one go, or choose to Pay As You Go (PAYG).

Block booking prices vary depending on the number of weeks in the block, but work out at £4.50 per session.

PAYG: £5 per session.

Sibling/childminder discounts available - contact me for more information!

About Singing Gwen

I am a primary school teacher by training with over ten years' experience in the classroom. I am also a classically trained singer - a winning combination for a children's music class! When my third child was born in 2019, I decided the time had come to follow my long-held desire to work with even smaller children and share my love of music (and being silly!).

Children with Additional Needs

If you have a child who needs extra help in any way please do not hesitate to contact me to see how I can make the class accessible and fun for everyone.

What other parents (and children!) say:

"B has loved every minute of your classes!"

"Hurrah hurrah, this started my week off perfectly!"

"I highly recommend this lovely group."

"We have loved this term. It's been so much fun."

"You were a lifeline when we first moved here."

"I feel happy now I've singing!" (Z aged 2!)
