About our
Fenny Stratford
nursery
Our friendly Fenny Stratford nursery and pre-school is located in a listed building that is full of character in Milton Keynes.
Our Fenny Stratford nursery, is a cosy setting with a warm, caring and friendly atmosphere. The areas within our nursery are dedicated areas for the different age ranges to ensure we offer appropriate learning and experiences tailored to that age. We have a cosy baby room, a toddler room, and a pre-school. All the rooms within our nursery and the outside areas build up on the children’s interests and aim to stimulate their curiosity. We are also very lucky to have a fantastic garden area for our children as well as a sensory room.
Our children are served seasonal, healthy lunches and snacks daily and we can cater for any dietary requirements as well as support the weaning process for babies.
At our nursery in Fenny Stratford we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, supporting all areas of your child’s development from three months until they are ready to go to school. Our early years practitioners monitor each child’s progress and plan a variety of enrichment experiences to support individual development in all areas of learning.
Baby Den
3 months to 2 years
Our baby room is a dedicated area for babies and younger children, from 3 months to 2 years.
The black and white area is a cosy, soft part of the baby room that helps to stimulate the brain. This help babies to become active learners. We also have a dedicated baby area in our garden.
Toddlers
2 to 3 years
Our main room utilises a neighbourly picket-fence to separate our toddler area and pre-school.
Our toddler area is specifically tailored for toddlers and young inquisitive minds. We promote independence and teach our toddlers social skills.
Pre-school
3 to 5 years
In pre-school, children begin getting ready for school with our school readiness programme.
Being a curiosity nursery, we aim to minimise the use of plastic and focus on natural resources and real-life objects, as children learn best from real experiences.
Outdoors
Our outdoor area is compact and provides an ever-changing outdoor learning environment for our children.
Our children also recently planted a variety of herbs and vegetables, and they have pet fish and snails that they can interact with.
