Small Friends Day Nursery is the perfect setting for parents looking for a local nursery bursting with opportunities to help their children flourish.
The ethos at Small Friends is around the child’s happiness and wellbeing. Inside our light, spacious nursery, we promote a calm and natural learning environment. Our four large nursery rooms are complimented by our nursery garden and beach house, which is dedicated to investigation and creativity through small parts play.

Helping pay for your childcare
Find out moreUnderstandably, the cost of day nursery can put many familiesoff choosing it as an option. But there are a range of Government schemes open to parents that can make nursery affordable and we will do everything we can to help you understand the choices and access the funding that you might be eligible for.
Tax-Free Childcare – For working families earning under £100k and at least £131 per week (equal to 16 hours at the National Minimum or Living Wage) each who aren’t receiving Tax Credits, Universal Credit or childcare vouchers.
15 hours and 30 hours Funded Childcare – For many working parents of 2 year olds, and 3 – 4 year olds for 38 weeks each year.
