RARE BREED OF THE MONTH 🐷 Meet Jeremy, our new Oxford Sandy and Black boar! He’s gearing up to join our sows, Toulouse and Duchess in their field, hopefully resulting in some adorable OSB piglets soon! Once teetering on the brink of extinction, the Oxford Sandy and Black breed is now making a delightful comeback, and we’re thrilled to play our part in their revival. Keep your snouts to the ground for updates - we can’t wait to welcome these little oinkers soon! #rarebreedpigs #oxfordsandyandblackpigs #rbstwatchlist #rarebreedanimals #pigstagram #

Our pygmy goats are in for a real treat this Spring, as we embark on an exciting redevelopment project for the goat walkthrough. Pygmies are very active by nature and they love nothing more than to climb on anything that will give them a better view! In the wild, this gives them the advantage of being able to spot predators more easily, but on the farm they simply climb for fun! We are installing a fantastic new goat activity centre that will provide our goats with new walkways, bridges, platforms and interactive feeding stations to explore. This exciting enrichment will encourage our goats to show more of their naturally playful behaviour as well as giving visitors an improved experience. The goat walkthrough will be closed to the public for a few weeks from today, while redevelopment work takes place, but you'll be able to find our goats in the Animal Barn or second outdoor goat enclosure during this time, where they can be stroked and fed as normal. More news on this exciting project in due course! #visitbucks #hogshawfarmandwildlifepark #adventureawaits

This was our first visit to the farm, and it certainly exceeded our expectations! It is so much more than just a farm. There are lots of different farm animals, as well as wild animals, birds of prey, and creepy crawlies. There is an outdoor play area with sand pit and water play and indoor soft play featuring a thrilling three-tiered climbing frame with tunnel slides and rocking balls for the over 5s, while the under 5s enjoy rolling balls, a ball pit, and engaging obstacle courses. There is a café by the entrance next to the shop. There is also another café where the soft play is. The food prices are very reasonable. The inclusion of ride-ons and free-to-use pedal go-karts near the entrance is a delightful touch. Additionally, the smaller barn hosts various seasonal activities, ensuring there's always something exciting happening. We really enjoyed bottle feeding lambs and holding chicks. We also had a chance to stroke guinea pigs and touch a millipede! Overall, Hogshaw Farm is a must-visit destination for families seeking fun and adventure!

Feeding the orphan lambs was very enjoyable. Plenty of stuff for kids and a small building full of small creatures ranging from harvest mouse to tarantula.

I love Hogshaw Farm every time I go. We took 60 school children and had the farm to ourselves which was lovely. Not as many shows for them because it was closed to the public but enough there anyway. Someone did have a bump but we struggled to find someone who could help us with first aid. Luckily it was a minor one. Otherwise we loved seeing the animals and interacting with them.

I went with my son's school on a trip there. Very friendly staff, clean. I just loved the park before leaving. And a good variety of animals. If you're looking for something not too big, too busy, I recommend this farm

We visited today with our 6 year old who has Autism, I have to say, it’s one of the best days out we have had in a while! Our son was overjoyed with the sand and water play area, the large slides, and his favourite area, the bounce cushions!!! We couldn’t get him to leave without encouragement! Feeding the animals was such a joy for him. The lady on the till was an absolute delight, who was very patient with us when my son was having a meltdown over how many toy dinosaurs he could have! We are already looking forward to our next visit. There is so much to do, lovely animals to see and we were very glad of the indoor picnic area as it was a cold day. Thank you!

Great place for the kids - lots to do, even when it rains, currently the kids love the maze in the barn - the soft play is big enough to entertain but not so big you lose track of there kids - nice revamp / extension of the under 5’s section. Lovely friendly staff. We opted for a membership this year and have been very happy.
