I started attending Sophy's baby signing TinyTalk classes when Little Hiccup was just 5 weeks old. Although she slept
through most of the first few classes, I got to start learning the signs and meeting new parents too.
Now at just over 2 she knows over 220 signs. Her current favourites are *door*, *coat* and *all gone* and of course *swings* which she uses multiple times a day to let us know that she wants to go the park.
She can now also say almost all of the words too, though with normal toddler speech progression so I'm very glad of signing to be able to work out if it's 'bath' or 'bus' that she's telling me.
It really is incredible to have an insight into the mind of your child and know what they want, feel or need before they can tell you.
I want to share baby signing with as many families as possible and would love to welcome you to a TinyTalk class very soon.

🌟 Learn baby signing with your little one in a super fun and interactive way and communicate with them before they can talk.

💜 Classes are a full hour long; 30 minutes of signing through nursery rhymes🎶, action songs and a sensory activity followed by 30 minutes of social time including toys for little ones and a hot drink☕ and biscuit🍪 for the grown ups 😜

Favourite Sign:Lion; my daughter loves making the sound of a lion and it quickly became my favourite sign.
Qualifications:BMus(Hons) Music, PGCE Primary teaching, DipABRSM Flute Performance
Favourite Film:The Greatest Showman; I love singing along to all the songs.
I love baby signing because:You get to communicate with your child before they can talk. It both calms and excites you both as you can play and learn alongside each another.
