Yoga for Pregnancy
This class is a great way to relax and spend time with your unborn baby. We focus on gentle postures, breathing techniques, positions for labour and relaxation.
The aim of this class is for you to have an enjoyable and relaxing time, while improving your physical and emotional wellbeing and helping you feel more confident and positive about birth.
The postures are very gentle, specifically designed so you can attend throughout your pregnancy (after 12 weeks) and can be adapted to individual needs.
This class is suitable for all women, regardless of their fitness level. No previous experience of yoga is necessary.
Mother and Baby Yoga
This unique and fun class provides a wonderful opportunity for you as a new mother to ease your way back into exercise after the birth of your baby.
You can join our NCT Mother and Baby Yoga class once you've had your six/eight-week check from your GP and been given the OK to restart exercising.
Classes are run by NCT course leaders who have undergone extra training in teaching postnatal yoga. They allow time for the bond between mum and baby to develop, enhancing understanding of your baby and so increasing your confidence in being a parent.
The use of music and rhymes throughout the class creates a fun and relaxed atmosphere, so re-learn those nursery rhymes and come and join us.
